Description: In January of 2006 an explosion in the Sago mine in West Virginia left 13 miners trapped inside. News that the miners had been found alive turned out to be false. Only one of miners, Randal McCloy Jr., had survived. This song was written the day after the rescue. The song is dedicated to men and women who work the mines, giving up safety and the light of day to keep the lights on for the rest of us.
